Barista Kohuwala

Barista Kohuwala, though a smaller outlet than usual, truly impressed me with its interior design – whoever is responsible deserves a raise! It's beautifully done and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces, which really enhances the experience. Even the manager is very good and attentive. The service is definitely up to Barista's usual high standards. My only slight observation, and it might just be me, is that the coffee machine seemed a bit "out of tune" on my last visit, as my iced americano tasted a little different than what I'm used to from other Barista outlets. However, this is a minor point. Overall, it's a perfect spot for your daily coffee needs, offering a charming ambiance and wonderful service!

It’s difficult to not be impressed with this location. I’ve both dined-in and had take away from them, and both of my experiences exceeded expectations. Having just landed in SL a couple of months ago, I was quietly on the hunt for a good cafe to be consistent with close to my home. I was afraid establishments here might not meet the same standard as what I had abroad and that I would have to settle. Since every cafe I increasingly came across was either bad coffee or rude staff. But not with Barista. Their customer service is purely on another level, always so kind and patient. Most importantly the care they take with the food. If you order on uber eats the coffee doesn’t arrive half spilled and muffin half dry. Each item is carefully sealed with precautionary measures, so having it at home is just as good as having it at the cafe. I’m so impressed and i thank the team at Barista Kohuwala with all my heart. This will now be my go-to spot ahead of any other java or cafe. Hats off to you. Wishing you plenty more success.

Without a doubt, Barista is my number one coffee choice and an essential part of my daily routine. While every outlet across the island has its own charm, a few have truly won my heart thanks to the exceptional service of their staff. At the Kohuwala outlet, Omar stands out, his outstanding customer service and warm, friendly smile always make me feel welcome

Barista overall has really uped their game... the staff is very welcoming, greets all clients walking in with a big smile. The atmosphere is very chilled out, and the coffee and food are excellent . Its actually improved from what they were last year. Keep it up. I love the crossaints .

In love with this place. The interior is graceful. Working tables with sockets makes it very convenient. Washrooms are squeaky clean. The environment is quite peaceful to get some work done. The smoking area is a narrow patio, yet another lively outdoor spot to chill. Service is great, staffs are friendly and the food is served quite fast. ( clearing the tables is a bit slow, I was there from 2pm and my empty dish wasn’t cleared until I left at 6pm). AC is set at 22 C and it gets pretty cold out there after a while. Staffs were quite flexible to control the temperature when you inform. Will visit again for the atmosphere and the service !

I visited this coffee shop to work and dine in, on a weekday and I’m very happy with the place, food and the staff Their ambience is very calm and cozy, I ordered a chicken bagel and a mango smoothie which tasted really good and costed close to Rs.2900 They had a very spacious, clean bathroom with huge mirrors which was a plus They also had dedicated tables with power slots to plug in our devices which was very convenient. They might have WiFi as well but I was using my own hotspot

Love the new Barista in Kohuwala! The interior is beautiful, with ambient lighting that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. They also have a nice outdoor area for smoking. Two standout features here really caught my eye. First, the work tables with inbuilt power sockets make it easy to bring your laptop and work while enjoying your favorite coffee. Secondly, the addition of a sanitary napkin station in the restroom is such a thoughtful touch, showing their support for inclusive and considerate facilities. Overall, a great spot to relax or be productive. Highly recommend!
